the amp i want says it puts out this amount of wattage rms at each ohm..

RMS Power at 4 ohm: 350W x 2
RMS Power at 2 ohm: 700W x 2
RMS Power at 1 ohm: 1000W x 2

the speakers i want i can get in either 2 ohm or 4 ohm. since the 2ohm setting on the amp is what im looking for since my subs rms is 750... does that mean i should buy the 2ohm subs? also, should i need a battery capacitor?

are the subs you are looking at dual 2ohm, single 2ohm, dual 4ohm, or single 4ohm? what amp do you have?

if you have 2 subs and you want to wire it to 2 ohms, you want the dvc 2 ohm subs. and no, you dont need a capacitor.

the subs are dvc 2ohm, and they have the dvc 4ohm also. and since i like the option on the amp to wire it 2 ohm because its rms it puts out at that is what i want. i think i need to get the dvc 2 ohm model subs but i was just making sure before i bought them.

so if i get two dvc 750 watt rms each subs, with an amp that the rms is 750 x 2... that is a good range right? i mean, will the amp power my subs properly like that?

basically, find an amp that puts out 1500 watts @ 2 ohms. the (x 2) means how many channels.
