i got a 12" alpine type x that needs some power 1000w rms/ 3000w max would any of these amps do it any justice???????

hifonics is max power at 1ohm and type x is dual 4.
What you need is amp that does 1.5k rms @ 12.5V.
I connected the other day mtx 1501d and it plays niceley. Yo dont need nicely. before that it played with DD Z1 and it was impossible ti stay in the car...

if i were you adam i would get the orion 2500d for that sub. the orion 2500d is 1700wrms@2homs. trust me that sub takes more than 1000wrms to make it move the way you want. also later on if you decide to get another one you are covered with that amp.

we just rewired the system. single X single MTX Kicks like mad, but for a bit SQ go with 1.5kw at 12V, just to keep your amp at half gain
