I have an alpine mrv1000 v12 2 channel amp. here are the stats:
Power Output
RMS Power (at 12V, 20-20kHz)
Per Channel into 4ohm ....... 100W x 2 (0.08% THD)
Per Channel into 2ohm ....... 200W x2 (0.3% THD)
Bridged 1 Channel into 4ohm... 400W x 1 (0.3% THD)

Dynamic Power (at 14.4V, 20-20kHz)
Per Channel into 4ohm........ 150W x 2 (0.08% THD)
Per Channel into 2ohm........ 300W x 2 (0.3% THD)
Bridged 1 Channel into 4ohm.. 600W x 1 (0.3% THD)

So what do I get with a bridged 2 ohm load?
Also what would be the best way to hook up two 300 watt rms subs to this amp? My choices for the subs as far as I know are 3 or 12 ohm each or 1.5 or 6 ohm together.
Thanks,
Jason

it shuts down with a 2 ohm load bridged.
not supported.
the amp sees half of the actual load when bridged, so it would need to be 1 ohm stable stereo for 2 ohms bridged.

go with one 3 ohm sub on each channel.. or just get a JL amp that's got a regulated output to deliver the proper amount of power to those subs.
