This kicker amp im going to purchase says it requires 4 ga wire for power/ground... anyone know where i might find some cheap?

If wire is all you want Home Depot, Lowels, Ace, True Value, electric supply stores has all the wire you need. Wire is wire- it all does the same thing. As for a fuse, Radio Shack has them or EBAY.

er no, not true.
the stuff at home depot is for in wall wiring and such. its VERY stiff, and nearly impossible to run in a car.
it's also lower strand count so less desireable for car applications.

keep in mind, electrons (current) travel around the outside of the wire. the more strands of wire in the cable, the more current it'll be able to carry, and the more supple the cable will be and easier to run as well.
stick to high current cable made for car audio.. you'll be thankful, and with teh site I listed, or partsexpress.com, its already dirt cheap.
