because those are dual 4ohm subs and you either need a strong 2 channel and run stero or a mono 1ohm amp, and you prob are not going to find a good one for 250

where those subs givin to u, because no way ur gonna pay 500 for sum subs and cant even afford to power them

Really look into Hifonics amps cheap power, kinda overrated (rms wise) but they will get the job done

usually jay, for 2 subs you get a mono amp, 1 sub = 2 channel, speakers = 4 channel. its kinda like backwards.

i know. i have read that chaunc. most setups i see, even on this site people with 1 sub usually has a 2-channel amp. i am just saying what i have seen on this site. it doesnt really matter though, 2-channel or mono, you just plain out need an amp that puts out the power you need and can connect the the sub(s).

also, chanc, dont take the iraq thing personal, its just a basic debate that i think is very good. just a debate, dont have anything against you.

hmm...so would i be better off in price wise going on a mono amp and going at a 4ohm load, then getting a high quality compacitor lyke a 5 or 6 frag?

jay, you should really read the sites. everyone starts as a newb and everyone has basically read top to bottom of those site's. just read and if u still have qestions, come back

and u dont need a cap. more strain on alt. not worth it

what is the ohm load on the amp, if it is the gm-d510 amp your either getting less then 600w@4ohms or the amp is down to a 1ohm load and your going to blow it up, and subs could be out of phase...
