About that 4-ohm MONO & 2-ohm STEREO stable thing

So, as an example, in the A8000T manual they say 4-ohm stable MONO and 2-ohm stable STEREO. What do they mean by this? Would this be a problem for a 3-ohm DVC sub (6-ohm, DVC set up in parallel)? I also saw this in other amp features... Thanks! Eric
