Im trying to run a 12w7 3ohm. Its a single voice coil sub. Would I be able to bride two amps to it. I have two alpine mrd m501 they are about 550 watts rms at 2ohms a peice. I have had alot of mixed answers alot of people say i can and alot of people say i cant. I also have a rockford fosgate p8002 its about 800 watts rms at 4ohm that i was just thinking of hooking it up to for now. Any Ideas

Thanks

your rockford amp actually might work very well it would give the sub around 650 watts @ 3 ohm. just wire normally + to + and - to -. the subs rms is 750 and a lot of people recommend the jl 500/1 amp which is only 500 watts your current rockford amp will put out more power than that. so your best bet now would be to just hook that up and see how it sounds.
