i dirve a 94 mazda 626 im pretty sure the stock alt. is only 80 amps. i have a a6004t doing 75rmsx4 and when its really cranked up iv only seen my voltage drop the lowest 13.8 then it stays at 14-14.1 at idle. what i want to know is, i know i cant get an exact answer becasue you dont know for sure but generally speaking would i need a HO alt if a put another amp in to run a sub, probly a 2 chan. bridged to do around 300 rms? or would that pull to much out of my stock alt.
thanks

I don't think another 300w would be a problem, especially if you could find a class D that will work, but even an a/b at 300w you're only looking at 10A or so of music power when you're playing it pretty loud.
