If u read my install thread - https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/189456.html I tested out my Rs with a power acoustik amp whic is "rated" @ 2100wrms , prolly does around 1400wrms realistically & my subs took it like a champ . Also my buddy Chad Lee has his 2 Rs powered off a Kicker kx1200 (birthsheet shows 1400wrms) & his works just fine too . ALOT of ppl here on ecoustics buy either a Kicker or Orion 1200D amp to power their pair of Rs & none reported back anything bad - so no worries ,man ....... |

It is recommended to use a quality deepcycle battery or batcap with each VR1000D to get the most out of it.
