One morning, i turned my car on and the amp (kicker kx400.1) was not working. I had a look at it and the protection light was on...I hav had the same amp and sub (15" kicker CVR dual 4ohm) in my car 4 ages. Later on in the day, the amp went out of protection mode and started working normally. It has been working normally since then. Could this hav been becos it was freezing that morning, thats the only reason i can think of lol. Any ideas?
it couldnt be becuz where i live it gets very cold and mine doesnt do that. maybe you had a loose wire that was barely touching and it came back together on its own. or maybe your amp has a slight technical difficulty. check all your connections.
