Type Rs with Avionixx amp ?

New member Username: Cminus909Post Number: 2 Registered: Aug-04 | Wat is the best way to wire 3 10" 4 ohm Alpine Type Rs (http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/products/product.php?model=SWR-1042D) with a Avionixx 2400 Mono amp (http://www.avionixx.com/nxd.html) would i b able to run it at 1ohm and get 1200RMS? |

Post Number: 6012 Registered: Jul-05 | bets way to wire 3 (4ohms dvc) subs would be  ur amp specs RMS Power @ 4 ohm550 watts mono/0.1% THD RMS Power @ 2 ohm950 watts mono/0.5% THD RMS Power @ 1 ohm1200 watts mono/0.5% THD id' guesstimate with a 2.67load amp each sub would be getting around 280wrms roughly each sub is rated 500wrms so that would be underpowering i'd get a 2000wrms @ 1ohm amp ... BTW - why didn't u choose like 2 750wrms 12" subs with a 1500wrms amp instead ? ...... |
