the subs are DVC 4 ohm and there is 4 of them they are wired to a 2 ohm load.
the amp being used is 1000 watts at 4 ohms because it is bridged to 4 ohms.
My Question:will that setup hurt the subs???

{which models of subs & amp r u talking about .

What price r u getting them for ?

Usually when subs r ran with wrong impedences the amp quicker gets damaged than the subs.}

first off, however the subs are wired is what the amp sees to play, if they are wired to 2 ohms, then that is what the amp sees, it won't read 4ohms.

even if it is a 2 channel amp that has been bridged to 4 ohms, running a 2 ohm load off of the subs the subs the amp will run in 2ohm anyway?

the amp will see what ever the ohm load of the speakers are, and if it is a 2ohm load most 2 channels are not stable at that load....
