I will be running a Dark Blue 1000.2
(2000rms @ 1 ohm) and I have a 94 Saturn Sc2...and no clue what the current alt produces...I am just looking for somthing for the future as I have not hooked the amp up yet (car in storage) so I dont know how bad my draw will be....(also battery perhaps too)

You know, ive never really thought about it but i guess there could be some benefits, one for instance could be that it wouldnt look as aged as quickly as one that wasnt poweder cotaed would

Also ,,, it might not be a good idea to buy from guys on ebay because when i bought that 180 a while back the guy didnt tell me to upgrade my Ground wires, he only told me to upgrade my Power wire but didnt even tell me to put a fuse on the extra wire .. so i dont think the guys know much about the alts they just know they can get um at a good price an sell um for a profit

I got a question here.....I know people get HO alternators and stuff. But wouldnt a HO alternator put more stress on an engine than a regular alternator??
