you will actaly want to wire them in parallel

and the kicker is stable at two ohms which you cannot wire two dual 4 ohm subs to

so u need to series them to 1 ohm and get a one ohm stable amp

orion 1200d
RE 12.1

those are both 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm

kicker comp cvr 12" subs (dual voice coil 4 ohm) $170 a pair ebay shipped, Audiobahn a8002t $140 shipped ebay, and a box plus wiring is about $400. 12 gauge works good for the subs and 4 gauge for power and ground will suffice.
Lots of people love audiobahn and lots hate it so take it or leave it.

blaine,

the kicker amp is stable @ 1 ohm and puts out 1200 watts @ 1 ohm which would be fine for (2) dual 4 ohm subs. (kx1200.1)

300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
1200 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm
stable at 1 ohm

go to www.the12volt.com and go to woofer wiring and it will tell you how to wire it

your going to want to wire your subs with the Voice coils wired in parallel, speakers wired in parallel
