Is it possible to install a laptop screen in a car as a tv???

i have a 13" lcd laptop screen and i was wondering if it is possible to hook it up as a tv with the rest of my video system in my truck....

welcome to the forum.

If your laptop has a tv card, or a video card with an aux input. You can!
But been that its a laptop.
I doubt it will have either that you need.
You would not really want to do that anyway, cause if the OS on the laptop crashes, no tv. Also it better be a p4 laptop with correct software.
The thing with laptops is not easy to upgrade. If you had a desktop you could just by a tv card for 20$.

i didnt mean i was gonna put the whole laptop in my truck, i have a spare lcd screen from a laptop, and i was gonna mold it in if it was possible

well deffinently no unless it has a vga or rca connector on it (which i doubt) or u r just really smart an can hook up a vga or rca to it

hes right! and besides that you will need the circuitry to pwr the screen and interface with it!
