Amp for two infinity 12's

Kdude17 Unregistered guest	Posted on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 - 06:15 GMT sorry i dont know much about car audio... i just baught two Infinity 1240w 12 inch sub's (anyone have any comments about these?) im wondering how big of an amp do i need to power these ... like wattage. Or does anyone have any certain amp suggestions?!? thanks anything will help

Might wanna double check yours, but the 1242 are 4ohm DVC 300RMS. I wired them to an Audiobahn A8002T... Good sub for the price. I'm very impressed with the setup. I have the subs wired together in a 4ohm load, and the amp puts out 800RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms (bridged).
