i know i probably need a cap but im not sure. i cant have my car off and listen to my system or my battery will drain in 5 min, and when car is on still all my lights blink and dim when system is on. i have 2 Alpine Type X's and a Orion 2500D,and i need tweeters because its not loud enough hen subs bang. which tweeters are good?
Hey... Settle down turbo... ya a capacitor would be nice. Just tweeters wont make enough sound to keep up with the subs. I would take you time and get a high quality head unit and run some 6 1/2's and 6x9's off it or off of an amp. Take your time and do it right the first time...
dont get a cap!!!!! when your lights are dimming your alternator is not keeping up. you need a HO (high output) alternator. getting a capacitor just puts more starin on your alternator and would evently crap out. get a 230-250 amp alternator and your lights wont dim anymore.
