I have heard many different opinions on alpine amps, so i have gone with the kicker 1200.1 and am looking at the L5's which sound decent. Problem is that i have had type r's in the past and they were awesome so i have no clue if the L5's are any better, i have only heard them inside a store(circuit city). Which ones are better?

well i like the type r's and most def. gunna pick them up, just need to know which to get...2 ohm or 4 ohm with that 1200.1 amp i know its 1 ohm stable so the (2) 4 ohms 12" would do. Would the 2 ohm be fine with that amp?

is there a difference between the ohms, they say there are "more ways to wire them" but what the hell does that mean!? The 2 ohms wont work with the kicker 1200.1?
