Ok my friend has just recieved his 2 15" Mt's. he wants to know the most efficent and best amp for them. He is trying to keep the cost below 1100 between both amps or 1 big 1. Any comments/suggestions are appriciated. Thanks

If you look at eBay, you'll be able to get Zapco C2k9 for around $1000US.
Do NOT get 2 2000w rms amps. There is no alternator out there that will fit your car and be under $400.
Lot of people make the mistake of getting 5000w amp and expect the subs to pound. The problem with that is, your stock alternator/battery doesn't have enough power to even supply 1000w rms.
The RE MTs will sound great with 1200w rms or higher in a 5cu ft - 6cu ft with the ports tuned to 32Hz.

Sorry By the way He does have a 200 amp alt that he got from excessive amperage. Also a Optima Yellow Top Dedicated just for the system .He has dual 1.4 ohms. I looked at Viper 2500.1 I understand that they are affiliated with Orion, etc. But It is a refurb. Should I still consider it?? Thanks.
