friend of mine just bought type x sub powering by audison lrx1,400 but it doesnt sound very good it seems that sub needs more power so he thinks of buying M1005(alpine recommends this one with type-x).Question is would it make any difference if he switch these two?(he is using 2ohm load)or any other suggestions? thanks

the difference between 600 and 700 watts is inaudable .. so its not worth it..look for a 1200 - 1500 watt amplifier.. that gives out the most of its power at 2 ohms
