will this work, GM-4CLD Audiopipe Class D

Features Fully 1 Ohm Stable Operation
Variable Low Pass Electronic Crossover
Remote Subwoofer Level Controller
Phaser Function
High Efficiency PWM Power Supply
3-Way Protection Circuitry
Variable SubSonic Filter

Distortion: Less than 0.5% THD
Signal to Noise Ratio: 96dB
RCA Input Sensitivity: 0.2 to 5 V
Input Impedance: >20KOhm
Low Pass Filter: 40 to 250 Hz/24 dB Oct.
Subsonic Filter: Oct 10 to 50 Hz/24 dB Oct.
Frequency Response: 10 to 300 Hz.
Output Power (RMS):
400 Watts @ 4 Ohms
700 Watts @ 2 Ohms
1200 Watts @ 1 Ohm

if i wire the subs in series what will the ohm load be? and will they have more or less power than running on a 2 channel amp?

if youre on a budget maybe the hifonics bx1500d... but i would only choose that amp IF you're on a budget like a $150 - $200 budget.

i wired both of my subs to a 2ohm load, but now they soud a little different then before, and they dont push out as far as they used to. since i wired them to a 2 ohm load does that mean they are each 1 ohm or are the both 2?

To answer your Question about if ohms matters, yes it matters a whole lot because what ever ohms load you have your Subs wired for is the load your amp is gonna see an put out its rated power for that impedance, also you dont wanna put an ohms load that the amp isnt capable of handling

Logan... Also, if your Subs are 2ohms DVC an you wire them the way Optidriven Is showing you to, then you would have a 0.5 ohms load not a 1 ohm load

if your trying to wire two 2ohms DVC subs together then your options are 2 ohms, 0.5 ohms or 8 ohms .....

lets say i got a HiFonics BX1500D its 1000 watts rms at 2 ohm. if i wired my subs to it would they both be getting 1000 watts or would the be getting 500?

also i was thinking about getting 2 audiobahn A8000t's. If i was to hook two of them up in my trunk could i like split the power cable into and run both amps off that one cable, And could i do the same with the ground?

with the 1500d at 2 ohms each sub would get about 400w (it's a little over-rated)

a pair of 8000t's would work well for two dual 2's, but you'd need 2 ga or 1/0 ga power/ground wire split to a 4 ga (8 if it's short) for each amp.

You might consider this

1900w at 1/2 ohm.

now im thinking about this amp:

Digital LCD Display (Voltage, Temperature & Output Level)
Platinum Plated Connections
Quiet Fan Cooling System
Top Loaded Power & Protection LED?s
Thermal / Short / Overload Protection Circuitry
0-18 dB Variable Bass Boost
40-250Hz Variable High Pass Crossover
40-250Hz Variable Low Pass Crossover
Remote Bass Control
THD @ 4 0hm <0.05%
THD @ 2 0hm <0.1%
THD @ 1 0hm <1.0%
S/N Ratio: >90dB
Channel Separation: 60dB
Frequency Response: 20-20kHz
Input Voltage Range: 200mV - 8V
Input Impedance: 10k Ohms
24dB Subsonic Filter (HK-401SX only)
1 x 500W RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono
1 x 650W RMS @ 2 Ohm Mono
1 x 1200W RMS @ 1 Ohm Mono
1 x 1800W RMS @ 0.5 Ohm Mono
Dimensions (H x W x L): 2.7" x 12.4" x 10.6"

would this amp work for my subs?
