How do you wire a Quad Voice Coil Subwoofer

what do u run your amp at to wire a qvc sub
for example the MT check out the specs on the website then tell me
also what would you have to do to power an OZ QVC 4000W 1 ohm sub

you need to something like the 2500d or bigger on it, or run 2 amps 1 per pair of coils, at a 2ohm load, or run 4amps, 1 per coil at 1ohm load, maybe a 600watt mono to each coil.

With a quad 1 you would have a few reasonable options.
One giant amp with the coils series/parallel for one ohm, or a pair of 2000w 2 ohm amps strapped, each with 2 coils in series. Maybe a pair of 1/2 ohm stable amps with each pair of coils parallel.
I'm sure if you took the time to get settings matched you could run a 1 ohm amp on each coil.

With the (RE, right?) MT it would depend on which version, but the variations would be similar to quad 1's.

yes but on the RE site the voice coil configurations for the mt are very strange they are not just 1 ohm or 2ohm: they .7 ohm or 1.4 ohm and 2.8 ohm
