Hey there. I'm new at the sub/amp world, but I have a pretty good idea of the sub that I want. I'm looking at the infinity kappa perfect 12.1 12'' sub. I've read a lot of reviews on it, and I'm not really sure which amp, or how much power I need for it. Also, help me with all the lingo..as far as the rms power and if i want mono or dual channels to power a single sub. Any suggestions would be helpful. Im looking to spend up to $150ish on an amp.

what was the VC setup on that sub? Don't remember if they come in DVC forms or not. If the sub is 4ohm, then the A8001T from Audiobahn is your best bet. It's a budget amp, but then again, you have a tight budget. This amp will produce 400wrms @ 4ohms so the sub will receive plenty of power. I believe that sub is rated @ 350wrms, but it can easily take 400.
