I've been hearing that you can't bridge two 2 ohm subs. Is this true?

Is there any speakers or ohms not capable of being bridged? Or that would make it blow easily.

you're being unclear, or misunderstanding.
what people mean is that you can't put a 2 ohm load on most bridged amplifiers.
if the amp is 2 ohm stable in stereo, it'll only be 4 ohm stable when bridged.

I have 2 12" kicker comp VRs and a kenwood 1700 watt mono amp. Can you bridge it? The subs are dual 2 ohm.

mono=1 channel - that can't be bridged.

A pair of dual 2's can get you a 1/2 ohm or 2 ohm load on the amp. I'm certain the kenwood can't handle a 1/2 ohm load.

dvc 2's for a 2 ohm load need to be wired like this:

Thats how i have it. Thats series/parallel. And I believe that would be a bridged picture.

Am I right?

bridging is a function of the amp where the power of 2 channels is combined into one with one of the channels being inverted. A mono amp doesn't have that capability.

Wiring two speakers together on one channel isn't bridging.
