because I have it on a 15" memphis 15-PR154 250wrms and 500wp , I have it hooked up and its slammin . but im afraid of that there is too much power going to it. Ive had a few people tell me that the sub can handle it and that its underated. I have the gain all the way down so will this be fine.

@ 4 ohms it should be 500 rms, and @ 2 ohms it should be 600 rms.

but do you think its too much for my subwoofer? The guys at the shop said it should be fine. And having the gain down and not peaking the system out by turning it way up will help right?

no the amp is overrated. the sub should be fine as long as u dont get crazy with the volume not the gain
