I bought the f345 a few months after so I had already bought 4 guage for the m1005. I just want to run 1 wire to a distribution block, but will 4 guage be enough? Most specs say it's good enough for 1400 watts, but is that cutting it too close? |

Silver Member Username: Infinity_addictSanta Rosa, California USA Post Number: 213 Registered: Jul-05 | your safest bet is to run 0guage to the back, and split it into two 4guage lines. if yer running yer subamp at 4ohms (700W RMS), i SUPPOSE you could run 2guage to the back and split it into two 4guage lines, but i'd still reccommend 0guage. yes 4 guage can handle 1300W RMS, but only up to 10ft, so unless yer driving a clown car... |
