okay here we go these are some amps that have been catching my attention lately. I need to find an amp that will match my idmax nearly perfect. Phoenix Gold X1200.1 JL Audio e1800D Orion-1200D Alpine MRD-M1005 JBL BP1200.1 Autotek SX-1700X
add the ed nine.1 to that list also...Can someone just give me a brief description on these amps? i mean the specs look pretty good im just tryin to see which will put out the best SQ.
Okay thanks...i was really thinking about the PG just because i could use it in the future. But the brand seems a lil iffy to mee. Or i might just break my wallet and get a nikimachi!!
I agree with simon! Although Ty has a good idea also but good luck finding one in good shape. Isaac already cornered the market in those amps. If you had a dual 2 ohm I would have sold you my orion 250g4 but its not enough power at 2ohms. Zapco, arc audio, old soundstream refference 1000 or refference 500, old RF power 650 or power 1000, nakamichi is very very good as well, Harrison Labs, sinfoni(very pricey). There are many great companies out there but you really cant go wrong with those mentioned.
Ya i wanted to get the dual 2 ohm so i couls run it at 1 ohm. But, i got this baby brand new for 230(cant beat that). I have been looking around for old orion hcca amps for awhile(can't find one that will be good at 2 ohms.) Also, the old soundstream and zapco's. Thanks for the input guys.
