I'm getting one 12"alpine type E and I don't know what amp would be best. Also I need one thats not too expensive, around $200ish.

dont u want a diff sub.maybe like the type Rs.u can probly get it on ebay for about 100 shipped.and its way worth it.

if ur only getting 1 sub get the 4 ohm version and get an audiobahn A8000T since it puts out 800 watts at 2 ohms

that sub will break in about a month or 2 some of audiobahns amps are ok, but there subs sux

why not just the kicker kx400.1 with a type R. the kicker amp is 400wrms at 2ohms but it will still pound the sh!t out of that type r. but if you want a little more power and are willing to spend a little more, then get the kx600.1.

now if i put the type R sub and amp in my car would i also need a new HU? or could i use the crappy stock one?
