most amps have specifications with how many watts can be played with how many ohms....ex. 1000 watts times 1 @ 1 ohm...or 200 watts time 1 @ 4 ohms....usualy they specify..1-2 and 4 ohms...but can i use a 3.2 ohm sub on an amp that doesnt say anything for 3.2 ohms..but it says power ratings for 2 and 4 ohms..can i use the sub?

in theory if an amp does 1000 @ 2ohm & 500 @ 4 then its estimated that it'll do 750 @ 3ohms - though it may not be = perfectly in the real world .

which sub u have that does 3.2 - JL ? .......
