i got a 250 rms jl w3 dvc6ohm just wonderin if u ppl think it would be safe to push a 2ch bridged 240 rms mtx amp at 3 ohms i ran it today and didnt even get that hot seemed to run fine
There isn't a lot of difference between 3 ohm and 4 ohm, the amplifier should be ok. I'm not guaranteeing anything, though. Many 4 ohm speakers are really closer to 3 overall anyway.
