Amp turns off after 1min...What's wrong

Unregistered guest
I have a MTX mono channel class D 420 watt amp and speaker level wires go through it but recently i'll play my music with my two kenwood 700watt max, 250rms subs and it'll play for about one minute or around two minutes if i am lucky then the amp will cut out and i get no music at all...What's wrong with it? fuse? overheating? ...on hot days it will cut out faster but when it is cool out it'll will cut out too and i'll touch the amp and it is not hot so it is not overheated...also sometimes it never turns on when i start the car...once it cuts out i lose music until i turn off the car and wait a while (any where from 5min-4hours) for it to work again..please help me...reply or email me

could be a bad wiring job, insufficient current or cable cauge, or a loose connection
could be several things

Glasswolf is right! (hes always right)
It probably is either the remote, ground, power or some kind of wire.

cutting out when ya hit bumps usually indicates a defective product or a bad connection somewhere..
usually the latter.

and I'm not always right.. but thanks.
