My HU has finally been installed after a painstaking effort. I forgot to connect the rem line from the HUto the amp. Is there any other way to set up the rem wire for the amp? Can I wire it directly to the battery with a on/off switch in between? I would hate to remove the HU after all the effort it took to install.
You can run the REM Turn-On to a switched fuse in your fuse box. Just be sure to select a fuse that's only "on" when the vehicle is started or the key is turned to ACC position.
