if i were to get a jbl 1200.1, a 40x4 HU, and some adire subs for the jbl.. about how much current would this be taking out of my batt?(including how much the car itself is taking)
the latter was a better question indeed. call up your local AutoZone. ask them the stock alternator size for your make, model, and year of car. then take the stock HOT rating, and add about 100-120A to that. Bingo. you have the ideal rating for a new alternator.
chances are you could get by with a 150-200A alternator.. depending on the car.
