Phase shift, crossover

hey i just got my new amp today and im trying to figure out exactly what the settings to , there is this switch on the amp that says phase shift and idk what it does anybody know. And also what exactly does the crossover controll do like is it better to turn it up or keep it all the way down or keep it in the middle im kinda stuck on what these options do.

Phase Shift is used to reverse polarity. If you connect the +s and -s backwards, you can use this switch to fix the problem of your speakers being out of phase without rewiring everything. I've seen some subs with the terminals marked incorrectly, so this also helps fix that problem. This adjustment can also be used for "Push & Pull", but it's not really necessary and no need to get into that.

Setting your crossover depends on what you're powering.

Play with it and set it to where you think it sounds the best. Some people crossover their subs at 80Hz. Some much lower.

What amp did you get?

The amp i have is Audiobahn A8000T is 800rms.
