i have a kicker kx600.1 amp and everything worked fine for about 2 years on a couple of different cars and a pretty new amp kit until one day it just went dead. i found out that my fuses had blown in my amp and when i tried to put a new one back in the connection sparked real bad. i have a fairly good ground using the bolts connecting my back seats to the frame and everything is hooked up right. i also tried another amp and it did the same thing when i tried to put a fuse in. why would the fuses be sparking and blowing like this?
Are they the right size amp fuses for it? And are you tryin to put them in while it is on? Lol dunno but that could be a problem if thats what your doin
