It depends on the install. You can lose a lot of acoustical energy if you enclosure is poorly built.

As far as quality of the gear goes, power acoustic isnt great.

However, based on the RMS of the amps and subs, its not gunna be heard from blocks away. It might be loud to you, but nothing super loud.

If you like than thats all that matters. Hook it up and see, thats the only way to know for sure.

being heard for a block is really not the goal of a truely great sounding setup.....but if you just want noise....then even getting a block away and hearing it is harder then you think....just did a install of 2 w712's in a downfiring box that was slot ported to JL's specs on a MTX 1501d it is only felt for maybe 60 feet. loud as hell inside the cab of the ranger and sounds good to. something that loud is hard to atain. they might hear the rattle but that doesn't sound good tho!!

All depends on what type of car you have also. Do you have the subs in the trunk, in a hatchback car, or in an SUV? Box size and placement also play a role in sound. My system (2 12" 500wrms each, in a sealed box, in a hatchback car) can be heard over half a mile away.

that wont be a bad system to start out with, dont let these guys give you a bunch of crap. i Started out with 2 10" bazooka master p series subs, and a MA Audio 800watt monoblock amp(it was junk), I had them in a 1988 chevy nova, and people could hear me coming, for a little ways.

Generally speaking alot of ppl here had bad experiences with PA subs - some say they are loud but sound crappy , others report that the main issue with them is that they tend to fall apart , poor quality construction & durability .

There are better sounding/built subs around that price range ......

why not just put a big sign on your front and rear windows that say I have a system you might not be able to hear it a block away but I do have one! will make it easier for the thieves to pinpoint you out. Its people like you that have the authorities passing DB laws so people like me cant listen to my stereo with the windows up as loud as I like(which is Bull SJ!T) keep your sound in your own car no one else wants to hear what you are listening to anyways!

Well Thomas - u have 2 choices with that amp
4 Ohm Rms : 220W x 2CH
2 Ohm Rms : 280W x 2CH
Mono Rms : 560W

either buy 2 subs that are 2ohms 300wrms
OR 1 12" or 15" really good 2ohms dvc sub so that u can connect 1 channel to 1 coil

check out
Diamond D9 & RE SE - basically u are looking for a single 2ohms dvc sub (preferably a 15" !- lol) ....

How do i find a vented enclosure for them that is tuned for 32Hz?

your subs are 4ohms dvc as u mentioned so they can be wired like this http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ISEO-rgbtcspd/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wi ring.html?view=all

so now u understand that u have to connect 1 sub/channel - this is your ONLY choice .

these are the specs right there in that same link u sent me
# Sealed box: 1cu.Ft
# Ported box; 2.15 cu. Ft.

so basically u are looking for a ported box which each chamber has a volume of 2.15 cu.ft ......

Start searching all over online & measure your space cause this box will be BIG cause usually most 12" subs require a 1.5-1.75 or so volume .

U may not find the 'perfect' box that does 32HZ but try to find 1 thats as close as possible ...

ported is louder so i rec u do that .

U already got them so what can u do - like i told u reasons above Y experienced car audio guys won't buy em .
I'm sure they did not cost u that much so use it, experiment & later on buy better both amp/subs .

If buyimg a pre-fab box - the seller should have the HZ stated somewhere .

this is a good read http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-TRINuJBLrCq/learningcenter/car/
If making your own pvc ported box read/follow calculators on www.the12volt.com
or www.bcae1.com has a ton of info .....
