hondaintegra Unregistered guest | ok i need to know how to hook up an amp i already hooked up the ground power and remote wire i dont want too add my subs yet i just want my speakers to sound better but i dont know how too hook it up can anyone help |

Silver Member Username: TdisantoPost Number: 393 Registered: Sep-05 | just run speaker wire from the amp outputs to the terminals on the speaker. Also run RCA cables from the back to the HU to the amp. You already have power, ground, and the remote wire hooked up so you should be all set. |

Silver Member Username: TdisantoPost Number: 398 Registered: Sep-05 | No You dont use the old speaker wire going from your HU to your speakers. You buy speaker wire (16-18AWG) and cut two pieces. Run one of them from one of the channels on the output of the amp (+ & -) to one speakers terminals (+ & -). Do the same for the other channel on the amp with the other piece of speaker wire. Your essentially not using that old wire and replacing it with new wire. If you have more questions or you want to understand how this all works, read up on www.the12volt.com |
