You wire them in parallel. That is, pos to pos and neg to neg. Then hook them up to the amp in bridged mode. Make sure your amp can handle 2ohms.

the rockford fosgates woofer wiring wizard shows for a 4ohm dvc sub to go from pos of amp to pos of woofer then other pos of woofer. then from neg of amp to neg of woofer to other neg of woofer.

Is your amp stable at 2 ohms bridged? If not, the only way you could do it is to use only one channel and parallel the VCs. There's no need to do that. If you had a DVC 2 ohm sub, then you could simply run one channel per VC.

Since it's not stable at 2 ohms bridged, you're SOL as far as running it at 2ohms.

The 1 ohm load is for a pair of DVC 4 ohm subs on one channel. You cannot wire one DVC 4 ohm sub at a 1 ohm load.

OH alright but what if the sub is 2Ohm how do i get that to run on my 2 channel amp which is only 2ohm stable and 4ohm and 4ohm bridgeable stable?

Also what would you reccomend that would push about 500RMS watts per 2 channels or even 400RMS for a 4ohm load?

If it was a DVC 2 ohm sub, you would just run one channel to one VC and the other channel to the other VC. That would be a 2 ohm load.

No, I certainly would not buy that amp. The MSRP alone tells me about the quality of that amp. $269 MSRP for a 1600w amp? Nope... Personally, I wouldn't give $50 for that amp.

What kind of sub do you have?

If you're gonna use just one DVC 4 ohm sub, then you need a mono amp that does the wattage you need at 2 ohms.

If you're gonna use just one DVC 2 ohm sub, then you need a mono amp that does the correct wattage at 1 ohm.

If you're on a tight budget, look at Hifonics.

TWO SUBS! So im using 2 of the Lanzar 124D's and im on some what of a buget but what amp would i need to push about 400RMS watts because i want to hit the RMS raiting on these subs.

Kicker 1200.1? But that one is mono channel and only 1 ohm stable i dont know if the subs can take that or what ever i dontknow how it would work more ideas?

"2 of them"

I thought you were using just one sub? If you're using two, then that changes everything.

Two DVC 4 ohm subs...

You need a mono amp that does the correct wattage at 1 ohm. You wire all the VCs in parallel which is + to + and - to -.

I don't know how accurate the RMS rating is on those Lanzar subs, so I'm hesitant to recommend the KX1200.1.
