I have 2 hcca 250r's running 8 spl dvc 12's. I have them wired at 1 ohm in stereo. I also have a 3.0 farrad cap, and a 170 amp alt. I only hit a 139.7. So my? is what could I expect to hit running the 2 hcca's.

at 1 ohm you're only getting 200 watts x 2 from each amp 4 subs per amp two subs per channel that means each sub is getting 100 watts RMS.
run that amp in stereo at half an ohm and squeeze more power out of it, like it's meant to be run. your problem is just a severe lack of power right now.
