I have an mtx thunder 801d. Where should i have the EQ and the freq settings.. will turning them up cause my subs to be harmed if the gain is set right? I know my gain is set right, because the amp isn't clipping and the subs are bottoming out or distorting. But i have the FREQ and EQ set as high as they can be, well i think the FREQ is at like just before half way (my guess at 80 hz, cus thats where its supposed to be right). The subs im running are two alpine r's
