Kicker 1-ohm amp with Kicker 15" Solo-Baric L7 2-ohm dual voice coils?

I've been going over many options as to what amp I should hook up to the Kicker 15" L7 Solo-Baric I am buying (1000W RMS/2000W Peak). The first amp I was going to get was the Kicker SX900.2, that would bridge to 900 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Then my uncle suggested the Kicker KX1200.1 which gives 1200 watts at 1-ohm. Since I really like the SX line of the Kicker amps, I got thinking about the SX1250.1 which gives 1250 watts at 1-ohm. My main problem in deciding is my lack of technical knowledge. I have no idea how the sub will work on the amp with the 4-ohm impedence vs. the amps with the 1-ohm impedence. How do the impedences of the amp and sub interact? Can someone please fill me in? Thanks for all the help :-)

How about an amp with 800x2 at 2 OHM RMS and at 1 OHM is 2x1000 watts RMS...max 4000 watts. 4 OHM this amp runs at 2x500 watts RMS.
Depends on what your willing to spend!

Uh, okay...

Anyway...

Michael,

What is the voice coil configuration for your sub? That's very important when it comes to choosing your amp.
