Hifonics bx1205 wiring question

right now i have a SWR-1222d(2ohm+2ohm) alpine sub to this amp (hifonics bx1205D) at 1 ohm and it is stable.(very loud by the way) i am going to get another of the same sub. Manual says its non bridgeable and can only plug min 2 ohm each in the speaker jacks. + + - -
but can i split the wiring of the 2 subs (2 ohms total) straight into the amp without frying it?

If you add another sub just like you have, then you can wire at 0.5 ohms, or 2 ohms. Since the amp isn't stable at 0.5 ohms, you'll have to wire at 2 ohms and will lower the output from your amp.
