a capacitor is not what you will need. you will need a ho (high output) alternator.

what is your budget for an amp???

about 500 bucks. i thought caps act as a power reserve when the amp demands a large amount of current. my volt gauge in my dash already bounces to the bass with only one 500 and one 350 watt amps

for 500bucks max you can get a variety of amps...anything from JL 500/1 to Kicker KX600.1 off ebay and you wouldnt even have to use all $500

a capacitor does not make up for an insufficient charging system. you will definately need a ho alt.

U can always have a nice matching Alpine setup with this http://sonicelectronix.com/item_3732.html if your sub can be wire @ 2ohms . This amp has alot of headroom so will run very cool .
