if both subs are 4+4 ohm, you're out of luck.
you need to wire the coils in series for two 8 Ohm subs, then wire the subs in parallel to the amp for a 4 Ohm load.
no way to get a 2 Ohm load with that setup
you bought the wrong subs..

GlassWolf,

I thank you for the informaiton, we didnt know what we where buying daul voice coil 4 x 4 ohm subs, we thought that we where buying single voice coil 4 ohm speakers, it was only after we got the speaker home did we relise that they where daul voice coil subs.

The manufactures spec on our amp is 1 x 150 watt RMS at 4 ohms and 1 x 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms ( peak is 1 x 900 watts ) Would it be better for me to use only one of the subs, this way I would be able to hook the one sub up at 2 ohms there for getting more power out of our amp??? if so do you know how to wire up the one sub at 2 ohms?????

run one of the subs @ 2 ohms, or return both of them and get the SVC versions instead.

if you use one sub, wire coils in parallel
