I live in tampa florida and I have a 1983 olds delta 88 and lets say, it does not have the coldest trunk around the block. After awhile of playing, the amp is blazing and starts to shut off. I have heard about people using fans to cool the amp off but I never have really looked into it. I have my amps mounted on a piece of carpeted board (2 amps and a cross over on about a 4 foot piece). What type of fan does everyone recommend and how should I mount it?? Thanks for any info you can pass on.
i remember having that problem with a couple of amps in the past. you would probably get the most out of a squirrel fan. or two for pushing air in and pulling air out. can be found on ebay and i believe parts express should carry them
