I currently have a 500/1 running to a 8w7. I love the SQ of my current setup, but obviously since it's only 1 8" sub, it sometimes lacks the thump I want. Not that the 8w7 doesn't have a lot of punch, but if i could improve the SPL at all I would like to. I have heard great things about Dynamat / eDead / etc., but usually in reference to reducing rattling. The one thing I love about my sub is there is no rattling, it might not get as loud as my old 10w6v2, but there is NO boomy bass, and it is tight as hell. I'm just wondering if the $100 or so it would cost to throw some sort of sound deadener in the trunk will make a noticeable difference? If so, do I then need to make the jump to sound deaden my whole car? I know that the answer to these questions is probably that it will help, but I'm happy with my current setup, and I'm just trying to squeeze every little bit of sound of this 8w7.

(Yea, I'm probably going to try and get one of those new xxx's when they come out in the fall...)
