I own a 800 watt Sony Xplod amp and its always been fine for me, but the other day it stopped working, so I checked it out and it turned out that the gound wire came off. well I hooked it back up and it has power now, but the "offset" light is on and the amp doesnt work. What does this mean and how can I fix it?? And i better tell you now that i dont know much about amps, i just know how to hook it up.

I couldn't really tell you how to fix it, but I CAN tell you you're better off getting rid of that amp and getting a better quality one. I;ve learned that the hard way, no point in patching up something that was questionable to begin with!
