what is the difference in sound quality, because if i get the comp vrs i will be running them wit the kicker 400.1kx amp How will tat sound??

Wow, running the risk of clipping is all I can say. It will sound good at low levels, but you're getting tricky underpowering by 200W! I mean, if it were 50-100, it wouldn't be so bad, but that's 200!

what do u mean by clipping, and how am i underpowering the subs are 400 rms and so is the amp

Because, it's a mono amp. Even if you run your subs at with a combind ohm load of 2 ohms, that gets evenly divided among both subs. So 400WRMS/2 Subs = 200WRMS each. The subs are 400W RMS. Clipping is distortiong sent to the subs from an overdriven/cheap amp.

You need an 800w RMS amp for those subs.

Assuming they are 4 ohm DVC, look for a mono amp that puts out about 800w RMS at 1 ohm.

i thought that the subs were a combined 400watt rms not each 400
