I just tried to hook up my amp to my stereo i have done this before but for some reason i cant get the power to turn on in the amp i connecteed the power to the battery, it is grounded and i connected the power antenna to the remote and the power on the amp wont even turn on does anyone know what i am doing wrong.All the fuses are fine too i already checked that but any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated thank you.

first thing.. use the power wire on the remote screw and see if it turns on using that power wire. if it doesnt make sure you are getting power from the power wire.. short it out and blow a fuse, find a lightbulb from a flashlight, or use a meter to check.. DONT test the remote wire by blowing a fuse cause you;ll break the radio.
make sure you got power goin through the wires check to see if your battery posts are dirty and wiggle the ground closest to the amp
thats basic steps if you have to come back try to remember the last time you seen sparks
