Hey, Im kinda new to all the car audio world, I recently bought 2 MTX RT10's.(I have them in a Non-ported box) My step dad gave me a "older amp" its a Coustic 380 (250rms). As far as i know its a 2ch. amp, but i was lookin at parralle wiring digrams and i tried it out and jsut wasnt as loud as if i were to have them wired to each ch. and have it briged. Why is this?

well it seems like you had it at a 2ohm load just to one channel that wont provide as much power as when you have it bridged or when you wire one speaker to each channel at a 4 ohm load
example=doesnt refer to your amp
100rms X 2 at 4ohms(one speaker per channel)
150rms X 2 at 2ohms(2 speakers per channel)
2 4ohm loads are usually more powerful than 1 2ohm load...except with some of the mono-block amps
